Universal Speed Rating announces partnership with Tony Holler, Feed the Cats
Universal Speed Rating, a software platform that uses a proprietary algorithm to rate athletes speed in its database based on peak speed, and renowned speed coach Tony Holler, Founder of Feed the Cats, have formed a strategic partnership to continue teaching coaches nationwide the record, rank, publish framework via the USR platform.
After supporting the Universal Speed Rating in creating the USR Level 1 certification, which you can find more information on here, a more extensive partnership between Tony and the Universal Speed Rating seemed imperative to continue helping coaches learn proven speed systems.
As a strong proponent of the USR, Tony Holler’s 40+ years of coaching experience paired with his knowledge and influence in helping coaches develop speed in youth athletes fit seamlessly with the Universal Speed Ratings mission:
To help equip coaches to unlock their athlete’s potential by measuring, tracking, and improving speed all in one place.
“I believe speed is the tide that lifts all boats and the Universal Speed Rating is helping to share this mission. The USR is set up to simplify the process for coaches to learn and teach the skill of speed. I’m thrilled to partner with the Universal Speed Rating and look forward to sharing our vision across the country to help every coach learn what it takes to train smarter and help athletes get significantly faster.”
Tony Holler, Feed the Cats
Speed development is lacking in many programs due to lack of knowledge, and a misunderstanding of the importance that speed development has for athletes.
Tony, in partnership with the Universal Speed Rating is here to simplify speed training by providing tangible, easy to apply principles at any program, for any sport, and at any level of youth athletes.
“The Universal Speed Rating was created to be the data solution for athletes and coaches that are looking to improve their speed performance objectively. It was a no-brainer to partner with Tony based on his extensive knowledge and experience helping youth athletes get faster. His record, rank, publish methodology is exactly the type of method that the USR was created to support.”
