Taylor has made a name for herself on the field, known as one of the winningest players in the sport. With only 5 losses to her name across high school at McDonogh, college at Maryland, and repping U.S.A. in the world cup, Taylor’s list of accomplishments include:
- A national record 198 game win streak in high school
- 2 collegiate National Championships at Maryland
- Gold medals at the 2017 World cup and World games
- The only player to win the Tewaaraton award 3 times
Now, as the new Director of Lacrosse for the Universal Speed Rating, Taylor is looking to continue blazing her path in the sport by helping athletes improve their performance, increase their speed, and step up the development for lacrosse athletes nationwide.
At Universal Speed Rating, our mission is simple: help athletes train smarter and play faster. We believe that speed is capable of transforming performance in players across all sports. Partnering with Taylor gives the opportunity to spread this message into a sport where faster athletes often have the advantage.
“Having someone with the knowledge, expertise, and experience in lacrosse is going to be a game-changer for the Universal Speed Rating, and for
lacrosse athletes everywhere…”
Said Les Spellman, one of the founders of the Universal Speed Rating.
Taylor’s main focus will be to continue improving how youth lacrosse players are developed — by introducing speed data tracking capabilities of the Universal Speed Rating, Taylor sees a world where lacrosse becomes one of the premier sports at developing high performance athletes.
“I’m so excited to be partnering with the Universal Speed Rating. I’ve incorporated the test, prescribe, monitor framework in the past while coaching at McDonogh, and am a big believer in the Universal Speed Rating’s ability to help raise competition with data profiles, increase athlete speed, and improve the performance of lacrosse players everywhere.” — Taylor Cummings Danseglio
